SCUBA class in CABO!!!
Adam and Sarah wanted to get SCUBA certified before they went on a dream vacation to Hawaii. They live Near Houston Texas so we discussed the available dive site locations to complete their Open Water Scuba Diver course. After exploring options like the Florida Panhandle, Lake Travis, and Tennessee rock quarries, they mentioned that they had a quick trip to Cabo planned and that they could utilize that vacation to complete the course, so that they’d already be certified divers when they went to Hawaii a few months later. We had a plan! We decided on doing the pool training at Adam & Sarah’s pool at their home and then flying to Cabo the next day, where we had booked 2 dive days with Manta Divers, one of the best scuba operations in Cabo . All in all the dive trip took 4 days, we completed 6 hours of pool training and 4 open water ocean dives. We reached a maximum depth of 60′ and were able to see jellyfish, moray eels and tons of beautiful fish. I tell all of my students that SCUBA diving is only part of the fun on a dive trip, and this trip to Cabo was no different. We ate at some amazing restaurants, took a water taxi to some more remote beaches, and spent some time sight seeing and shopping. We even enjoyed the Cabo club scene for Sarah’s Birthday! I hope Adam and Sarah enjoyed their Open Water course as much as I enjoyed teaching them.
