Earn your SDI Night Diver Certification at the crystal-clear Vortex Spring. This course develops the skills, awareness, and confidence needed to safely and effectively dive in low-light and nighttime environments.

What You’ll Learn

• Nighttime dive planning & safety procedures

• Proper use of primary, backup, & marker lights

• Navigation techniques in darkness

• Communication & buddy-team protocols

• Managing stress, situational awareness, and emergency scenarios

Course Format

• 3-day training program

• Classroom/briefing sessions at Vortex Spring

• Multiple supervised night dives

• Performance-based instruction (not minimum-standards)

Prerequisites

• SDI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)

• Minimum age: 18 (or 10 with parental consent)

• Comfortable buoyancy, trim, and basic dive skills
